We only set essential cookies automatically. Analytics and marketing cookies are switched off by default and only activate if you choose "Accept all" or enable them individually in "Manage preferences" — both available from the cookie banner on any page.
| Category | Purpose | Can I turn it off? |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Lets the site function — remembers your quiz progress, your shortlist, and that you've signed up (a profile reference and your first name, never your email) so you aren't asked twice. Nothing works without these. | No — required |
| Analytics | Helps us understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck, so we can improve the site. | Yes |
| Marketing | Would only be used if we ever run advertising — not currently active regardless of this setting. | Yes |
You can update your choice at any time.
